T. L. Ryder is a native of the Intermountain West who moved south to get away from low temperatures and high snowbanks. She has a B.S. in Anthropology and has worked for small presses and a college textbook publisher before starting to write fiction. Her lifelong love of Science Fiction started when her dad got her hooked on Star Trek the Original Series when she was a preschooler. Similarly, she developed a strong love for vampires by sneaking views of Dark Shadows reruns when her mom wasn’t looking.
Currently, she lives with her husband, adult daughter, and too many cats in a lovely house in the southern woods.
